News & EventsPillar in the Community: MS Sydney to Gong Bike Ride

15 riders from Pillar and Print Super took part in the annual Sydney To Gong ride on Sunday 4th November. 9 riders signed up for the full 90km course starting at St Peters and 6 started the 56km course at Heathcote.

The riders woke up to a very wet morning but undeterred, they made their way to the starting line.  It was a particularly early start for those starting at St Peters with some riders getting up at 4am!

The weather remained wet until the riders reached Sutherland when the rain and clouds started to clear.  By the time they got to Waterfall, the clouds had cleared and the sun was shining.  Riders were treated to glorious scenery along the route which wound its way through the Royal National Park and the northern suburbs of Wollongong.

The riders took between 3 and 5 hours to complete the ride with all making it to the finish line in one piece!
